Megan and Kevin came to Gonyea Transformations with a clear vision – to transform their typical 1970s home in Mendota Heights into a beautiful environment to raise their growing family. From the complete overhaul of the kitchen and dining room, to cosmetic upgrades throughout, this two-story remodel features timeless design that will be relevant for years to come.
The new open concept kitchen was created by merging the old dining room and eat-in kitchen. Professional grade stainless steel appliances stand out against the brilliant white design. Custom elements like the range hood and table style island make this kitchen unique. Double patio doors bring natural light into the dining area and slide open to create an extra wide opening onto the deck.
On the second floor, space from eliminating an extra bedroom was used to expand the master bathroom and create a second-floor laundry room. With a separate bathroom for the kids, this adults-only retreat has plenty of luxurious features.
