This classic 2-story Woodbury home, located in a quiet, serene community, did not have the functionality that our clients needed for their family and lifestyle. With a difficult floor plan, and outdated oak millwork and ktichen cabinetry, our clients wanted to bring the 1991 home into 2020.
Our team formulated a creative solution to incorporate their needs and wants into their home remodel. A bump-out addition was created off the back of the home to accommodate a larger kitchen and dining space. With this expansion of the main level, the Gonyea Custom Homes team created two lower level bedrooms below the new kitchen. Other features of the new main-level include a remodeled front office, dining room, great room, and a functional mudroom with custom built-in bench and drop desk.
